Sprinklers
It is no coincidence that Sprinkler Systems are used more than any other fixed fire protection system. Over 40 million Automatic Sprinkler systems are fitted world wide each and every year.
There are various sorts of Sprinkler System although all share a common operating method. Quite simply, this means that an individual sprinkler head will open when a sufficiently high temperature is reached and will spray onto that specific location. Other sprinkler heads remain closed. As a result the source of the fire is directly tackled and any damage is completely localised.
Although most commonly installed and seen in ceilings, sprinkler systems can also be installed in the less visible but still high risk places such as ducting and roof spaces.
Data from Europe over the last ten years shows that in buildings fully protected by sprinkler systems 99% of fires were controlled by sprinklers alone.
We can design install and maintain the most appropriate system to protect your premises and leave you with peace of mind even when there is no one there to raise the alarm.
